Content traineeship - entry-level position

Do you have excellent writing, editing, proofreading and administrative skills?

momondo is looking for a creative candidate for a 6-month paid internship. You will join our dedicated Content Team and be a key force in taking momondo’s inspirational content to new heights. We are looking for someone who can assist with orchestrating content for our various hubs – and is eager to join one of the fastest growing online brands in Scandinavia.

Responsibilities

We expect you to be a keen team player – passionate about travel, excellent at multi-tasking, able to work to strict deadlines and with acute research skills. This is a full-time internship with good prospects for full-time employment. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the content on-site to ensure it is accurate, up-to date and appropriate
  • Templating and localising product content and global content
  • Communicating momondo content with external companies world over
  • Implementing new content in our CMS systems
  • Scoping new content pieces, occasionally writing inspirational content
  • Administrative tasks, including management of workflows and translation processes

Skills and background

This is an entry-level position. You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent within the field of language, communication, cultural studies, or similar. You have strong analytical skills; you work confidently with MS Office package; you are professional, self-engaged and show a high degree of independence as well as flexibility. Marketing controller

Business analysis manager

Momondo is looking for a person that has strong mathematical capabilities (MSc in mathematics, statistics, and economics) and can apply advanced statistical analysis on huge data sets. You have used common tools like SAS, SPSS and R and have experience with building SQL queries. Ideally you have solid business understanding, preferably e-commerce, with knowledge of website measurement and/or marketing in general. You are curious by nature and can explain complicated findings and layman’s language and are not afraid to propose changes to the existing.

Ideally you have 3-5 year experience as an analyst, big data analyst or statistician in a related field, but newly grads with experience from student jobs are also welcome to apply.

You will be based in Copenhagen, report to the Head of analysis, and work with the entire momondo marketing organization.

momondo is looking for an innovative Data Journalist to join the dedicated Content team. Reporting to the Content Director, this mid-level role will be the first of its kind in the business, with the successful candidate responsible for bringing a new, analytical edge to an editorial team dedicated to telling relevant, useful and inspiring travel stories to a growing global audience.

You are a self-starter, with a proven track record working with complex data infrastructures; identifying trends, user behaviours, and telling expert stories based on insights garnered from proprietary data. You will also be committed to analysing the performance of the Content team’s global output, and communicating insights across departments.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will help fuel the frontends, partners and more with lots of data in ways that scale to millions of requests every day. We also build the infrastructure, libraries and all kinds of automation that makes the lives of other teams much smoother. As momondo continues to grow, we are looking for Backend Software Engineers to help expand our microservice architecture, built on modern technologies like ASP.NET Core, Docker and Amazon Web Services. Responsibilites

  • Responsible for technical design of new functionality
  • Design and implement projects, providing functionality to the frontend and partners through APIs
  • Investigate new technologies and approaches to continuously improve the way things are done
  • Ensure telemetry and performance insight is built into the things you create
  • Own the quality of the code you write, with unit- and integration tests that keeps the code base in check
  • Be part of automating as much as possible
  • Contribute to the agile process through sprint planning, review and retrospective, daily standups, etc.

Skills and background

  • BS/MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, Python etc. - we use C#)
  • Experience with designing and creating REST APIs
  • Experience working with relational databases and data access – knowledge of NoSQL would be an advantage
  • Experience with building scalable, distributed systems – experience with microservices would be an advantage
  • Knowledge about cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) would be an advantage
