Online Marketing Intern

Would you like to be part of an online marketing team consisting of 25 young and talented people from more than 17 different countries? Internship

This full time internship will be of 6 months and you will be taught the theoretical background of online marketing and receive responsibility for online marketing activities in your local market. We’re looking for interns for Austria, Belgium, English speaking countries, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Turkey and Arab speaking countries. The training will be conducted by experienced and specialized online marketing managers who will make you an expert within the following areas:

  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

The main focus of the internship is to provide you with strong skills within online marketing, which will make you an indispensable part of momondo’s international online marketing team. At the end of the internship we will conduct a final evaluation of your achievements and personal development at momondo and discuss the opportunities of a full-time contract. The monthly salary during the 6-month internship is DKK 13,500.

Candidate Profile

You have recently graduated your master or bachelor’s degree, preferably within marketing, business or information technology, and have a strong drive for online marketing and the travel industry. You are a quick learner with a strong analytical mind who is capable of identifying and starting up new online marketing projects. You have attention to detail, are a self-starter, take great pride in delivering unblemished results – and you’re a native speaker of one or more of these languages:

  • Arabic
  • German
  • French

Photo Editor

momondo is looking for a skilled Photo Editor, who can align, quality assure and develop our visual identity across all departments and all platforms.

You have a background in photography, preferably as a photo journalist or commercial photographer, or a minimum of three years’ experience as Photo Editor. You will be based in Copenhagen and report to our Head of Content and work closely with all departments of momondo in both DK and UK.

Responsibilites

  • To ensure a unique and unified visual identity on all platforms in a company with great emphasis on imagery and visual design
  • Be a visual brand guardian
  • Image sourcing for all departments; Content & Social Media, SEO, Design, Campaign, Product, Online Marketing and PR etc. – ensuring that all material is on brand and fits our profile
  • Negotiate image deals with professional photo agencies
  • Contact professional and amateur photographers for potential use of images
  • Retouching, cropping, improving imagery appropriately before use
  • Commissioning freelance photographers in cities around the world and negotiating competitive contracts

Skills and background

  • You have a background in photography – preferably within photo journalism or commercial photography
  • Expert skills with Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
  • Have an eye for detail and know inspiring and original travel photography when you see it
  • We ‘execute like hell’ and you must thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines and requests and be able to prioritise accordingly
  • Willingness to do "whatever it takes" to source the best images, e.g. on stock image sites and platforms with user generated content
  • Ambitious and humble enough to spend a week batching out a thousand different crops of photos if needed
  • Professional knowledge of image licensing for commercial/editorial use

Senior SEO Executive (Nordic markets)

As a Senior SEO Executive you’ll have a passion for SEO, be a creative thinker with experience of managing link building campaigns and on-page SEO initiatives.

You’ll possess great communication skills, be confident pitching your ideas to internal teams and be passionate about developing SEO across our sites. In addition you will mentor less experienced colleagues, sharing your experience and knowledge in order to improve the global SEO performance of the brand.

You will be multilingual, with written and spoken fluency in at least one of Danish, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian, as well as English. Any other additional language is a plus.

Responsibilites

  • Focus on hitting and exceeding SEO revenue targets for your markets by deploying white-hat link building, on-site content and optimisation
  • Develop, deploy and manage link acquisition campaigns as per the Global strategy, localising as appropriate
  • Identify the must-win SEO areas for your markets
  • Working with Nordic market specialist Marketing colleagues to assist with your campaign execution
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues, sharing ideas, knowledge and best practices
  • Monitor keyword visibility reports, web analytics data and performance vs. targets to identify areas of opportunity
  • Maintain awareness of competitor SEO, link building and social media strategy
  • You will have an holistic and brand-oriented approach to SEO

Support tasks

  • Continual optimisation efforts to strengthen relevancy, improve positioning and CTRs to maximise traffic

  • Maintain close relationships with agencies and suppliers as appropriate
  • Coordinate and collaborate on larger scale traffic acquisition strategies alongside other divisions within the business
  • Occasional small copywriting or translation tasks

Skills and background

  • You will have at least 2 years of experience in an SEO, social media or online PR role, either in a client side or search agency position
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and at least one of the following languages: Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian
  • You will have proven experience of planning and executing successful SEO campaigns and can clearly demonstrate your expertise in link building
  • You will have a real passion for digital marketing and keep abreast of all trends, new technologies, formats and platforms, etiquette and regulations within the search industry
  • Good knowledge and preferably experience in social media marketing/Digital PR, and how they can be integrated with SEO

Global Social Media Manager

momondo is looking for a driven and highly experienced social media professional to build the strategy and drive the delivery and ongoing development of momondo’s social media presence. You will be a key lead in the marketing arena for momondo and we’re looking for a dynamic manager to grow the team and help place social media at the heart of consumer marketing.

Responsibilites
